OMG THERE'S AN EARTHQUAKE!!
Okay, don't panic. That is the first thing you should not do: Panic. Panicking will cause you to not think rationally and thus might lead you to doing something more stupid during an earthquake, causing you to get injured (to know how to deal with injuries, please check the fourth tab). Anyhow, now that you have detected that there is an earthquake, it is time to know what to do in an earthquake.
"Stupidity is an elemental force for which no earthquake is a match." 1. First of all, STAY CALM. DO NOT PANIC. I REPEAT. DO NOT PANIC. Stay wherever you are and do not start running around.
2. If you are inside a building, either you stand against a wall near the center of the building, you stand in a doorway, or you crawl under any heavy furniture. You should also probably stay away from windows and anything that could possibly break. 3. If you are outside, STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT COULD FALL DOWN AND KILL YOU. Trees, power lines, flag poles, you name it. 4. If you are in a car, stay inside the car and wait for the earthquake to stop. (NOTE if your car is parked near something that could fall down, please move your car away [remember step 3]) 5. PLEASE DO NOT USE ELEVATORS. Seriously, there's no need to explain it.
